Summer Band

The WLCSC sponsors summer bands for band students in Elementary and Junior High School. The Advanced Band includes students who have completed at least two years of elementary band, and the Intermediate Band serves the students who just completed their first year of playing or students who would like to learn a secondary instrument. We also offer a Beginning Band option for students who have never played before, but would like to be a part of West Lafayette Bands. The bands rehearse for about 3 weeks during the month of June and the students perform at the Music Boosters Ice Cream Social. They conclude Summer Band with a fun trip to Indiana Beach!
