Spring Band Festival

As more and more of our students seem to be getting sick I feel that I need to adjust our plans for the concert this weekend. It would be irresponsible of me to require hundreds of students and their families to be in the gym all at the same time, all while playing wind instruments. I have decided to use the same schedule that we did last year in order to minimize the number of people in the gym at once, while still allowing the students the opportunity to perform for an audience. Saturday the schedule will now be as follows:
5:00PM – 5th and 6th grade bands
6:00PM – 7th grade, Marimba Concerto and Symphonic Band
7:30PM – 8th grade, Jazz Combo and Wind Ensemble
Each group of students should arrive 20 minutes before their scheduled performance time. This timeline should allow enough time for the gym to clear out between each set.
